Anti-obesity medications like semaglutide (Wegovy) and liraglutide (Saxenda) are in such high demand that drugmakers sometimes report shortages. And gastric sleeve surgery – a procedure that shrinks stomach size by up to 80% – remains the most common intervention for weight loss.
